Purchasing an Anti-Spam License

The following deployment prerequisites are required to use the Anti-Spam for SonicOS feature:

•	A licensed Dell SonicWALL network security appliance

•	Anti-Spam License for the firewall

•	One of the following Microsoft Windows Servers:

•	Windows Server 2003 (32-bit)

•	Windows SBS 2003 Server (32-bit)

•	Windows Server 2008 (32-bit, 64-bit)

•	Windows SBS 2008 Server (64-bit)

Purchasing an Anti-Spam license for the firewall can be done directly through mySonicWALL.com or through your reseller.

NOTE: Your Dell SonicWALL network security appliance must be registered with mySonicWALL.com before use.

1	Open a Web browser on the computer you are using to manage the SonicWALL Product_Name Variable, and enter http://www.mySonicWALL.com in the location or address field.

2	Enter your mySonicWALL.com account user name and password in the appropriate fields.

3	Click the submit button.

4	Navigate to My Products in the left-hand navigation bar.

 

5	Select the SonicWALL appliance you wish to add Anti-Spam capability to.

6	Register for a Anti-Spam for SonicOS license.

7	Login to your appliance’s web management interface.

8	Navigate to the System > Licenses page.

9	Do one of these:

•	In the Manage Security Services Online section, click the link to activate or renew your license.

•	Enter your mySonicWALL.com login information.

•	In the Manual Upgrade section, enter your key or keyset.

•	Click Submit.
