Selecting a Solution and Calculating the Total Disk Space Required

The table that follows guides you through the selection of an ideal solution. The number of syslogs in the columns “Role-AIOP” and “Role-Agent” in the following table refers to the number of syslogs the GMS Server receives.

The total disk space required is variable and calculated as follows:

Disk Space Configuration: (Number of Months to retain data for x Disk Space for Reporting/Month and Backup/Month) + Disk Space for Caching.

Example for UMA - 2 months: (2 x 100 GB) + 108 GB = 308 GB
