Configuring the Custom Block Page

The Custom Block Page allows you to enter your customized text to display to the user when access to a blocked site is attempted. Any message, including embedded HTML, can be entered in this field.

1	In the left pane, select a SonicWALL CSM appliance.

2	Click the Policies tab.

3	In the center pane, navigate to the Web Filters > Custom Block Page.

 

4	Type the custom text to be displayed when a blocked site is accessed under Message to Display when Blocking Website.

5	Select the background color from the Background Color pull-down menu.

6	Click Preview to see a preview of the custom block page.

7	When you are finished, click Update. The scheduler displays.

8	Expand Schedule by clicking the plus icon.

9	Select Immediate or specify a future date and time.

10	Click Accept.
