Policy Configuration : Configuring Action Objects

Configuring Action Objects
Action Objects define how the App Rules policy reacts to matching events. You can choose a customizable action or select one of the predefined actions.
The predefined actions have no configurable settings and are displayed in the Firewall > Action Objects page.
A number of BWM (bandwidth management) action options are available in the predefined action list. The BWM action options change depending on the Bandwidth Management Type setting on the Firewall > BWM page. If the Bandwidth Management Type is set to Global, all eight levels of BWM are available. If the Bandwidth Management Type is set to WAN, the predefined actions list includes three levels of WAN BWM. If the Bandwidth Management Type is set to None, the predefined actions list does not include any BWM actions.
You can view the settings by mousing over the Content column of a BWM action on the Firewall > Action Objects page. For more information about BWM actions, see Configuring Application Layer Bandwidth Management .
Table 27 lists the predefined actions available on the Firewall > Action Objects page. If BWM Type = None, no additional predefined BWM actions are available.
